Vietnam Trauma Coaching Retreat

April 20-27, 2024

Are you in a helping profession seeking to expand your expertise, looking for a career change, or interested in adding trauma-informed care as part of your existing coaching business?

Are you passionate about increasing support to people who suffer from trauma?

Would you like to learn how to approach interactions through a trauma-informed lens AND develop new competencies in a unique multicultural environment?

Trauma has gained attention as a cultural buzzword, yet few resources exist for trauma recovery.

Together ITTC and Orenda have created a coaching program specifically designed to bridge this gap.

We invite international professionals interested in becoming trauma coaches to travel to Vietnam and join us in a trauma coaching training workshop. Enjoy the unique blend of retreat-style learning and Vietnamese cultural immersion while training with experts in this field, gain hands-on experience and become a part of a supportive community that will benefit you for years to come.

  • Learn the principles of coaching within a multicultural context.
  • Experience high-level, specialized training on trauma-informed interactions.
  • Gain invaluable competence to be a trauma coach.
  • Share your knowledge and gain new insight through a global perspective.
  • Explore an exciting destination and immerse yourself in the culture.
  • Broaden your personal and professional network and build lasting friendships.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from local organizations or providers, allowing for rich conversations about mental health within the Vietnamese context.

PROGRAM LOCATION: Vietnam

The Asian Dragon is undergoing some of the fastest socio-economic changes any country in the world has seen. It is a major development success story with remarkable rates of economic growth since the start of massive political and economic reforms in 1986. But the lure of modern living has a deep impact on the traditional networks of family and community that continue to play a pivotal role in society.
